BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Feronia is nestled in the Pueblo Mágico of Tepoztlán, approximately 90 minutes from Mexico City, surrounded by breathtaking mountains, lush gardens, and centuries of history.

Most guests fly into Mexico City International Airport (MEX). Feronia will coordinate transportation for your group to the estate in Tepoztlán. We encourage groups to arrive together when possible, though individual arrivals can also be accommodated.

Feronia is located approximately 90 minutes from Mexico City. Many guests choose to spend a few days exploring Mexico City before or after their stay, and we’re happy to recommend activities and experiences.
Most restaurants, shops, and local businesses accept major credit cards; however, we recommend bringing a small amount of Mexican pesos for artisan markets, local vendors, or incidental purchases. ATMs are available at both Mexico City International Airport and throughout Tepoztlán.

YOUR STAY

Yes. Feronia is a private estate with dedicated on-site staff committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Tepoztlán is known for its vibrant culture and strong sense of community, and we work closely with trusted local partners to ensure a high standard of care for every guest.
Air conditioning is generally not needed at Feronia due to Tepoztlán’s mild, temperate climate, with warm days and cooler mornings and evenings. During the warmest months—typically April and May—ceiling fans and natural ventilation keep the spaces comfortable.
Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. While many guests choose to unplug and be fully present during their stay, reliable internet access is available whenever needed.
To maintain a clean, healthy, and intentional environment for all guests, smoking is not permitted on the property.
Local clinics are available in Tepoztlán for minor medical needs. Full-service hospitals are located in nearby Cuernavaca, approximately 20–30 minutes away. Our team is happy to assist with transportation and coordination if needed.

DINING

Meals at Feronia are thoughtfully prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Seasonal menus are designed to nourish, inspire, and complement your stay while showcasing both traditional Mexican flavors and wellness-focused cuisine.
Yes. We regularly accommodate a wide variety of dietary preferences and restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other common food sensitivities. We ask that dietary needs be shared in advance so our culinary team can prepare accordingly.
Yes. Purified drinking water is provided throughout the property. We recommend using this water for drinking and brushing your teeth. Our culinary team also follows high food safety standards in all meal preparation.

EXPERIENCING TEPOZTLÁN

Tepoztlán is a historic Pueblo Mágico celebrated for its dramatic mountain landscape, rich cultural heritage, artisan traditions, and reputation as a place of renewal and inspiration. Dating back to pre-Hispanic times, it has long attracted visitors seeking reflection, connection, and transformation.
El Tepozteco is an ancient Aztec pyramid perched atop the mountain overlooking Tepoztlán. Dedicated to the deity Tepoztecatl, it is one of the region’s most iconic landmarks. The hike to the summit rewards visitors with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valley.
Absolutely. Tepoztlán is rich in history, culture, and tradition. We are happy to help coordinate authentic local experiences such as guided hikes to El Tepozteco, traditional temazcal ceremonies, artisan markets, cooking classes, cultural tours, and other excursions that allow guests to experience the spirit of this remarkable Pueblo Mágico.

RETREATS

Feronia is intentionally designed for intimate retreats and meaningful gatherings. Capacity varies depending on room configurations and the style of your retreat. We’d be delighted to discuss your vision and recommend the ideal experience for your group.
Feronia offers a variety of flexible indoor and outdoor gathering spaces designed to support both structured programming and informal connection. These include a dedicated yoga studio, a pool house for breakout sessions, expansive gardens, and a dining room equipped with presentation capabilities.

Our brand new yoga studio is coming soon and will be fully equipped with mats, blocks, and straps to support a wide range of movement and meditation practices. Additional fitness equipment will include weights, mini trampolines, and stationary Schwinn bikes.

Absolutely. Many retreat hosts bring their own instructors, coaches, speakers, or facilitators. Our team works closely with you to ensure the estate is thoughtfully prepared to support your programming and guest experience.

Feronia provides the setting, hospitality, and expertise to bring your retreat vision to life. Your retreat includes on-site and remote support, luxury accommodations, exclusive use of the estate, chef-prepared farm-to-table cuisine, unique experiences, and beautiful gathering spaces that promote wellness and meaningful connection.

EXECUTIVE OFFSITES

Yes. Feronia offers presentation capabilities, including projector equipment, along with flexible indoor and outdoor meeting spaces designed for strategic planning, workshops, and collaborative sessions. If you have specific technology requirements, we’ll be happy to discuss them during the planning process.

WEDDINGS

Yes. Feronia specializes in intimate destination weddings and multi-day celebrations, offering couples and their guests a private estate experience surrounded by the beauty of Tepoztlán.
Feronia can host wedding celebrations of up to approximately 300 guests, depending on the event layout and style. Overnight accommodations are available for a more intimate group, allowing your closest family and friends to enjoy a truly immersive wedding weekend.
Absolutely. Many couples choose to extend their celebration with welcome dinners, rehearsal gatherings, wellness activities, excursions, farewell brunches, and other memorable experiences throughout the weekend.
While Feronia does not provide full-service wedding planning, we work closely with couples and their planners to help create a seamless experience. We are also happy to recommend trusted local wedding professionals and vendors.
Yes. Feronia partners with exceptional local caterers to create memorable dining experiences. We’ll gladly provide catering recommendations and help coordinate menus that reflect your style, preferences, and dietary needs.
Absolutely. Many couples include welcome receptions, rehearsal dinners, farewell brunches, cocktail gatherings, and other special events as part of their wedding weekend. We’ll help you create a celebration that feels effortless from beginning to end.
Our team works closely with you and your planner to develop a thoughtful rain contingency plan. Feronia offers a variety of indoor and covered gathering spaces, allowing your celebration to continue beautifully regardless of the weather.

PRIVATE GATHERINGS

Feronia welcomes a variety of thoughtfully curated gatherings, including family reunions, milestone celebrations, anniversaries, executive offsites, workshops, private retreats, weddings, and other intimate events. We prioritize gatherings that reflect the spirit of the estate—intentional, meaningful, and centered on authentic connection.

Feronia is designed for intimate gatherings, with capacity varying by the type of event and your group’s needs. The estate features six guest suites: four with two queen beds, one with a king bed, and one with two queen Murphy beds. For larger groups, additional accommodations are available, and our team can assist with overflow accommodations nearby. We’d be delighted to discuss your plans and determine the best fit for your gathering.

GUEST SERVICES

Gratuities are not required but are always appreciated. If you choose to tip, we recommend providing a collective gratuity to the House Manager, who will distribute it among the staff in recognition of their service and care.
