Feronia’s plantations produce crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel oil (PKO).
CPO is part of the staple and traditional diet of the Congolese and, with 100% of Feronia's CPO and PKO sold in the DRC, Feronia is well placed to help decrease reliance on imports and increase food security and quality.
It is used to cook food in and as an ingredient in cooking. CPO and PKO are also refined to produce cooking oil and are used in the manufacture of many foods, soaps and cosmetics.
